The Bodhi Tree

Because it is the tree in which Siddhartha Gautama attained enlightenment, the Bodhi tree has become a symbol of wisdom, enlightenment, and freedom. Pictured here is also the lotus flower, symbol of ultimate purity and spiritual awakening.
